In honor of the library's 150th anniversary, we are having a Patron Appreciation Week from November 5-10. During this week, we will have food, prizes, events, and more, all to celebrate you!
On Monday, November 5, we will be having Cocoa and Compliments. Stop by the library for a glass of hot chocolate and a handwritten compliment that will be sure to make you smile. WLEN will also be having a live remote broadcast here from 3-5 PM!
On Tuesday, November 6, we will be allowing you to print, copy, and fax up to fifteen pages for free. We will also have a family movie night from 6-8 PM, where we will be showing Coco.
On Wednesday, November 7, we will give out scratch-off tickets that will give you the chance to win a variety of prizes.
On Thursday, November 8, we will be having cider and donuts in the morning and cookies and punch in the afternoon, as long as supplies last.
On Friday, November 9, we will allow you to check out SIX DVDs instead of the usual four, so you have plenty of things to watch over the weekend. We will also be staying open until 8 PM for the downtown Holiday Open House. There will be art from local artists on display!
On Saturday, November 10, we will be giving away bookmarks, bracelets, and other prizes, and we will be open until 6 PM for day two of the downtown Holiday Open House.
Be sure to pick up your Patron Appreciation Week punch card the first time you come by and get it stamped during all of your visits! Patrons who turn in a card with at least four stamps will be entered in a raffle drawing to win some library swag.
For another chance to win, fill out our library survey and return it by Saturday to be entered in a separate raffle drawing! This drawing is only for patrons who have not yet completed our survey.
