Come celebrate First Friday at the ADL on May 4th!

May’s theme is “Night at the Movies,” and since May 4th is Star Wars Day, we’ll be going back to Jakku with a showing of The Force Awakens at 5:30 pm downstairs in the Community Room. Don’t worry about missing all of the downtown festivities by sticking around for the whole movie – you’re welcome to pop in and out whenever you want!

Upstairs, we’ll have a scavenger hunt, trivia, and DIY lightsabers, so you can finally live your Jedi dreams. (Sith Lords are strictly prohibited from entering the library. Sorry!) Once you’ve made your lightsaber, head on over to our photo booth for a souvenir snapshot of you in a galaxy far, far away.

Can’t make it downtown? Get in the spirit with one of our many Star Wars books or DVDs! We’ve got something for newcomers, longtime fans, and everyone in between.
