Pint Size Polkas will be performing at the library during the July First Fridays event.
Mike Schneider, of Pint Size Polkas, will present “Build a Better World through Polka Music” beginning at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, July 7. This is not a drop-in program so please plan on being at the Library by 6:00 pm to fully enjoy this musical performance that is jam-packed with audience participation.
Young participants will be invited to display various hats while the audience guesses the jobs that go with them. The audience will have fun answering age and theme-appropriate trivia questions on various people and things that have helped make the world a better place. Catchy sing-along polka songs and a quick round of “Name that Tune” further complement the program and no one goes home without doing the “Chicken Dance” and a special polka version of “Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes”.
Pint Size Polkas is geared for families and children in grades K through 5 but will be fun for all ages.
