Are you between the ages of 13 and 18? Do you have ideas about improvements to the library or programs you would like to see? Join the Teen Advisory Council and help us make the library better for teens!
What is the Teen Advisory Council?
The Adrian District Library Teen Advisory Council (TAC) seeks to incorporate the thoughts, opinions, imaginations, and influence of local teens. Basically, if you're anywhere between the ages of 13 and 18, we need you! As a vital part of our community, you're also a vital part of our patron base. Our goals are three-pronged:
1. We want to know what you think about our library, our collection, our space, and how we can best utilize its potential for people your age.
2. We want to provide an opportunity and a space for you to exercise the way you see, think about, live in, and dream about the world.
3. We want to connect you with members of this community who know things you want to know, and are willing to instruct you on a variety of topics, such as starting a business, college admissions, job application processes, how to become a professional artist/writer/performer, etc.
