Faced with uncertainty about the summer schedule and in the interest of public health and safety, in-person library events and programs have been cancelled through at least August 1.
In the interest of public health and safety of both library staff and patrons, in-person library events and programs are cancelled through at least August 1, 2020.
Recent cancellations include:
- The annual summer Volunteen program for 7th-12th graders;
- Summer storytime; and
- Other related Summer Reading Challenge events
Library staff is working hard to provide alternatives to in-person programming including Virtual Storytime and "Make and Take" kits for families to do at home.
Children, teens, and adults will still be able to log their summer reading through Beanstack, a new online logging and tracking program. Stay tuned for more information about Beanstack.
Specific information about summer library events will be posted on the library’s website and on the library’s Facebook page. Thank you for your understanding and patience during these trying times. We are disappointed that we are unable to hold our usual lively programs and events at the library but feel we are up to the challenge of providing meaningful experiences for our library patrons.
