Bakers and crafters of all ages and abilities are invited to participate in the sixteenth annual Gingerbread House Contest sponsored by the Adrian District Library.
Use your creativity and imagination to make and decorate a house or other structure. Bring it to the Adrian District Library on December 4th or 5th between 10:00 am and 7:45 pm. Judging will take place on December 6 before the library opens. Everyone is invited to participate in the contest: kids, adults, families, service organizations, scouts, businesses, etc. There are four categories to fit everyone’s needs and there is no fee to enter. Entries must be made of entirely edible materials.Ribbons will be awarded to the top three places in each category and special individual awards will be given to each entry. A People’s Choice award will also be selected by the public during “First Fridays” on December 6 from 10 am to 8 pm. Need help or inspiration for making a house?
